le passage dévastateur de l’ouragan Irma sur les
Antilles, touchant particulièrement les îles de
Saint-Martin et de Saint-Barthelemy, Solidarité
Laïque, avec ses organisations membres et ses
partenaires, se mobilise pour soutenir les
populations affectées.</strong></td>

<p>Le bilan s’annonce très lourd pour les îles de
<strong>Saint Martin</strong> et de <strong>Saint
Barthélémy</strong>, où la totalité des écoles
a été touchée. Il n’y a plus d’électricité, les
communications sont quasiment inexistantes et
les dégâts matériels sont considérables.
Menaçant désormais la République Dominicaine et
Haïti, l’ouragan poursuit sa route.</p>
<p dir="ltr">En pleine rentrée scolaire,
Solidarité Laïque s’inquiète de voir de nombreux
enfants et jeunes subir les conséquences de
cette catastrophe climatique.</p>
<p dir="ltr">Pour les membres et les partenaires
de Solidarité Laïque présents sur place, le
constat est accablant. Plusieurs morts, de
nombreux blessés, il est encore tôt pour dresser
un bilan complet.</p>
<p dir="ltr">Notre <strong>mobilisation </strong>permettra
de soutenir :</p>
<ul>
<li dir="ltr">
<p dir="ltr">Les <strong>familles</strong>, <strong>adultes
</strong>et <strong>enfants </strong>pour
les besoins de première nécessité
(hébergement, soins, nourriture,
habillement, soutien psychologique…).</p>
</li>
<li dir="ltr">
<p dir="ltr">Les <strong>structures
éducatives </strong>(écoles, foyers
d’enfants…) touchées qui nécessiteront des
rénovations, le remplacement du matériel et
un soutien aux activités pédagogiques.</p>
</li>
</ul>
<p dir="ltr">« Malgré l’ampleur du désastre, il
est important de donner les moyens à la
Guadeloupe de se reconstruire rapidement et aux
enfants, en particulier, de ne pas subir les
conséquences de cette catastrophe. » souligne un
partenaire de Solidarité Laïque sur place.</p>
<p dir="ltr">Au delà de l’indispensable soutien
aux personnes, fort de son expérience en
situation de post-urgence dans d’autres zones
géographiques, Solidarité Laïque considère que
le “<strong>retour à la normale</strong>” au
sein du <strong>système éducatif</strong> est
une priorité absolue et lance un <a
